This page is for ChatGPT users connecting Pleo as a custom connector.

Prerequisites

Before you begin:
  • Pleo MCP access is off by default; a company admin must enable it for your organisation before you can connect. See Access & Permissions if you’re not sure whether it’s enabled.
  • On ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces, custom connectors are off by default and your workspace admin must enable them before Pleo appears as an option. See How to Add Pleo MCP as a Custom Connector in ChatGPT.

Steps

Follow the steps below to connect Pleo to ChatGPT.
  1. Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors.
  2. Scroll to Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. This unlocks the option to create custom connectors.
  3. Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create.
  4. Enter a name (for example, “Pleo”), an optional description, and the connector URL:
  1. Set Authentication to OAuth, then click Create.
  2. Click Connect, log in to Pleo if needed, and approve access.
  3. In any chat, click + → Connectors and enable Pleo to use it in that conversation.
You are now connected and can start using the Pleo Connector in ChatGPT.
